GUEST: Justin Williams, Tinman Kinetics – contestant for the IBM Watson AI Xprize
The impact of AI on sales and marketing is a pressing topic for many today, yet there is a lack of true clarity around what artificial intelligence really means in general and varied perspectives in our field specifically.
In order to try and cut through the confusion, we stepped outside of the fields of sales and marketing to talk with an individual who lives and breathes artificial intelligence every day. Our goal was to try and understand some of the history of AI, get a sense of where it really is today and where it could be headed. And then to try and understand the true impact of AI on sales and marketing now and in the future.
Justin Williams created Tinman Kinetics to pursue the IBM Watson AI Xprize, a competition focused on using artificial intelligence to address large scale human problems. Justin shares with us his perspectives on AI, provide insight into how his team is pursuing the next evolution in story telling and talks with me as we discuss a future where the impact of AI on sales and marketing likely means a combined existence with humans and AI rather than a replacement.
Regardless of how long you have been in the fields of sales and marketing, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.
