Henry Haugland, Managing Partner with ValueSelling Associates, Inc., has been selling and managing complex sales processes his entire career. With a passion for the profession, he has made over 3,000 executive-level sales calls with the largest winning deal at $65 million.
His background includes working closely with sales and marketing teams at global companies such as IBM, Dow Jones, Nuance, Wolters Kluwer, Computer Associates, Constant Contact and Progress Software. As a seasoned sales executive, Henry has led go-to-market strategies for a broad range of high-tech products and services, held leadership positions in multinational organizations, and started up three companies, taking one public.
Henry met Lloyd Sappington, creator of the ValueSelling Framework®, when they were both marketing managers at Xerox Printing Systems. He even helped deliver several initial courses. Then, as a division GM at Honeywell, Henry became a ValueSelling customer, making him one of the longest tenured users of the ValueSelling Framework.
Henry is actively involved in many community service activities, including board president and co-founder of Kids Connect, a non-profit that provides academic support to at-risk youth. He has also served as a school board member for 15 years. Henry is an experienced pilot and aerobatics instructor, enjoys photography, and has competed in several sprint triathlons. He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps and a graduate of the University of Colorado.
