PJ has 25 years international business experience in a wide variety of companies. With an academic background (BA Hons.) in Organisational Behaviour, he has worked extensively in South Africa, England, Holland and the USA. His initial career was with Shell Oil in South Africa where a wide range of functions including Human Resources, Sales, and General Management were developed over a ten year period.
He then went on to join his family business (an agricultural equipment manufacturing and parts wholesaler) which he built into one of the top non listed companies in South Africa. Thereafter he worked for one of the leading agricultural parts wholesalers in Europe as a Group Director with operational responsibility for the UK, USA and South African markets.
Since 2006 PJ has been working with sales teams to transform their effectiveness and enable them to solve their greatest sales challenges. With an academic background in Organisational Behaviour from Reading University, PJ brings a rare combination of business leadership, sales expertise and people development to his clients.
He works with a wide variety of industries and companies including Adobe, Autodesk, Gartner, Legal & General, NCR, Standard Bank, SERCO and VMware, having personally trained over 1000 sales people in 15 different counties the last year alone.
He is currently the Managing Partner for ValueSelling in EMEA and works extensively to train and develop new ValueSelling Associates in the region.
