Peter Philpott is a 30-year veteran in sales and sales management. During the last six years, he has worked worldwide with clients in numerous industries, including digital imaging, distribution, healthcare, printing, telecommunications and travel. Peter has leveraged his experience with the practical application of ValueSelling from his previous career, providing practical insights for his customers in the marketing, sales and sales management programs he facilitates.
Prior to joining ValueSelling, Peter was the vice president of marketing, North America for Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG). While there he was responsible for product marketing, strategic alliances, OEM relations, channel plans and marketing communications. At KPG, as vice president of sales for the U.S. and Canada, Peter successfully led the implementation of the ValueSelling Framework for more than 200 sales and marketing professionals.
Prior to KPG, he was the national sales manager and vice president for graphics printing Systems at Kodak. In this role, he effectively implemented a turn-around plan with increased customer focus and a revised channel strategy that significantly exceeded revenue and earnings targets. Peter began his career in Toronto with Kodak Canada. He received sales and technical training at the Marketing Education Center in Rochester, New York. Philpott held many marketing, sales, and administrative positions at Kodak, Canada, including marketing education coordinator, marketing director and sales manager.
Peter earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He also completed the Duke University Advanced Management Program.
